AMD notebook deals???

Lenovo? never heard of them. they have same quality as IBM's?

I think Lenovo makes the chasis for IBM and they just brand them

I'd stay away from Referb's. Based on the position you are in, it's probably better to spend a little more on a new one with a 1yr or better warranty than a referb one with a 90 day warranty.
