Deathstar, can you PM some info of who to get a hold of? I'm seriously interested.

I'll see what I can do; at the moment, all I have is a phone number (Which I can't give out) and an ICQ #. I lost the e-mail addy.... Bang Head

Okay, I'll talk to Cheezy and a few others to see what I can do. Thanks though.

Just curious, not looking for for exact numbers but roughly what does it cost to keep a website like FOC or Big Bruin up and running every month?

For a while FOC/IANAG were "selfhosted" and I know the T1 bill was high... Several hundred a month high!

Mine isn't that bad right now, but the traffic teeters on the verge of requiring more substantial hosting!

Mostly... its ALOT of time!

Depends on lot's of factors.... Where your hosting, what software your running, etc..

You can do it all with free software on some cheap host for as little as $10 - $20 a month. But you just have a lot of limits, and need to be able to program your self.

Or you can buy commercial software, host your own site, with your own circuit, and can even run into a couple thousand a month... Grin Just depends.

Most sites are some place in the middle...
