Could be good. The electromagnetic pump is the most interesting bit - a possible way to elimibate another noise source, and a mechanical part that can break, but as pointed out in the article, there is no info in the way it could damage the hard drive.
Aside from cost, the problem seems to be that of actual disspation of the heat that's conducted. I wonder if they considered using a more active cooler like a Peltier in place of a radiator.

then you have to cool and power the pelt.. and at more cost. at this point youre better off with water or just plain air.
the problem i think they had with the metal is it wasnt giving up enough heat due to being a metal. it conducted heat better than the copper tube and fins and thus stayed hot. it would need a very large radiator to dissapate the heat in that case. the other problem is very high costs. _________________
