I was reading that there is a "new" Venice core that supposedly overclocks even better. The "E6" core features a BW at the end of the part number...

Anyone know the deal? Is this for real? 3000+ chips are only like $120. http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=A64-3000BW

Apparently the E6 uses less vcore, and will overclock better. I read something that said the E6(BW) was put out to fix some memory controller bugs that were in the Venice E3(BP) core.

I saw on Anandtech that these E6's were specifically solid chips... More so than even the earlier Venice cores. A thread at XtremeSystems showed some results, but I think the poster was proven to have had a different chip and not an E6... Laughing
