my PC crushes after about 30 minuts of game play with CSS or HL2, normal temp on it is 48-50 degreeds, i use Artic cooling Silencer 5, and i have a 400W PSU, my guess is my PSU, but am not sure if PSUs cause problems like that, i get a full screen of Sparks like a too high Overclocking when it crushes, last time it happend i was playing HL2, suddenly the half of the Graphics start to be come weird shapes Confused could it be my PSU?

that is artifact damage and i ahev the smae problem...it is the molex on my graphics card bein stupid...i would suggest a new psu and rma your graphics card and that will stop it...i still havent rma'd my graphics card...i am happy with it at the moment...but i found my erroring goes off and on and it only does it on certain games...so try a different psu...try messin with the molex in on your card...and try rmaing the card....

I wouldn't go there yet... the young one (haxapumpkinwithahatchet) speaks in haste. let's test the other stuff first.

Never heard of a Jean Tech PSU... how loaded down is it? What else is installed on this system?

Make 100% sure you are using the BETA nVidia drivers, and not the current released ones. Issues that you are describing is what people get with the current released ones, and has been resolved in the beta drivers.

Go to:
http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_downloads_rel70betadriver.html

Make sure you are running 77.76

If what Hellfire says doesn't work, then list out all of your componets. A cheapie 400W PSU might be causing a problem, depending on what else you have.

When your pusing the system and the heat starts to rise, the actual power the PSU is pushing diminishes.

However, take Hellfire's route first! It sounds like a quick and easy fix if it works.
