I'm surprised neither one of them built in a DVR into the box, does pratically everything else.
The PS3, I was initially excited that it included a Blu-Ray drive, then I remembered a new brief I read last month that Sony and Toshiba are finally talking about making a new standard to merge the Blue-Ray and the HD-DVD formats. Damn, and here I was thinking I could get the PS3, and use it as a home DVD player as well as for games! Damn them!
Wish they'd just come out with the flourscent opticals and be done with it for a long time!
I dread seeing the price point for these units. I know they typically lose money on the base units, but wow thinking of what the components cost... |
