when are you called a rich person ?

at what net . worth would you say a person is a rich person ?
and at what earning or yearly income would you say a person is poor ?

That is pretty tough one to answer there are so many variables. What is average pay here in the LA area would be BIG $$$ pay say in the sticks in New Mexico. What would be good pay to a single guy would be not nearly enough to someone trying to support a family of 5. Just too many variable. Anyway I would say if you are doing 6 figures you are rich or should be

6 figures is far from rich in any place other than some back woods hill billy town.

7 figures I would call "wealthy", 8 figures... yea that's rich.

And I would call someone rich, if they could go buy anything they wanted to buy (doesn't mean they could buy anything, just anything they want)

See a lot depends on your point of view as much as anything. If I went from what I live on now to 6 figures I would feel rich. After I got used to living on 6 figures I would probably feel different about it and think I needed 8 figures to be rich. After I got used to 8 figures.....
