So... the machine is up and running for the ladies to share, and although the 3 year old is pretty good at it (for a 3 year old), she has managed to browse into (Add/Remove Programs) and into other scary places already!
I have her setup on a limited account in Windows XP, but that is still to free...
Is there FREE software that can really crank the permissions down for just her screen name?

hmm Windows is way too user friendly . nothing comes to mind taht will do that. i would say jsut remove all of the system icons, jsut leave her game icons. dont leave anything that shc could possibly wander into the control panel or c drive wiht. wait i jsut thought of an idea *i am too lazy to revise my post* a program taht comes on the windows 98 cd called POLedit its a policy editor and you can lockthe control panel,right click the start bar you can lock everything i dont know if it works in xp but we sure have fun with it on our schools pc's. _________________ Ignore this^^ |

start -> run > gpedit.msc > ok
It's free, and included with XP Pro. You can lock yourself out of things though.... |
