i was wondering if anyone knows of a imap client i could use online. Like a yahoo or hotmail, where you can plug in your other email accounts via imap. but i know yahoo limits the size of the mail.

i would like to not have to install anything, and wonder if a good one is even out there.

would be nice to see this feature in gmail.

I don't know a web based IMAP client... Outlook Express which comes with Windows already does support IMAP.

www.fastmail.fm

It is web based IMAP mail, and they have a free account, but if you pay a one time fee, you get access to using your own mail client, the SMTP server, and POP3 retrieval. I use the POP3 retrieval to keep up with several other email accounts, dumping them into custom folders.

I doubt you will ever see hotmail, gmail, yahoo mail, etc, ever move to IMAP, as POP3 works well enough for them not to change it (even though IMAP kicks a$$.)
