You may need to reinstall XP. It has a hardware check as part of its security feature. If too much hardware changes it is suppose to do something. Also have you tried choosing the second one? Also when we get you fixed up I'll tell you how to make it so you only have one choice _________________ Monkey see Mikey Do

You can also try booting into Safemode and removing most of your hardware from the device manager and letting windows disocver what is there on the next boot.

I would say no. Did you overclock at all? Something may be giving out before you get loaded up. If not have you tried booting off the XP Cd? You can do a repair install off of that. _________________ Monkey see Mikey Do
I haven't OC'd it at all, and it's fine just idle at the bios window for quite some time so I doubt it's that. XP disk is working! I'm trying it now! Get back to you on the details next post.
Arrrgg I don't know the administrator's password! Damn you Best Buy conning my parents into buying this POS! Time to play the guessing game. If I just press enter when the password comes up, I get to a command prompt. C:\WINDOWS>_
Best Buy says they don't set the passwords, and I've tried every single password that comes across my memory, I asked my parents too. This offically sucks. Anyway to bypass this?
