The ecobee Switch+ packs quite a bit inside. There is built-in Alexa with microphone and speaker, a motion sensor, light sensor, temperature sensor, night light, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n @ 2.4GHz, and it is designed to be controlled through the ecobee app. In addition it can be integrated with HomeKit, Alexa, SmartThings, IFTTT, and Google assistant. And since this is obviously designed to replace a standard wall switch (SPST), you can toggle your light locally.
