I needed some new stuff last year and began the process of replacing all wired items with Gigabit - and all wireless items with N. My Internet connection is to the point where Wireless G won't keep up (those 70Mbps and 80Mbps were over WiFi) and it is getting close to the point where 100Mbps wired won't cut it.

Plus, the speed is more important for the local traffic withe the Gigabit connected NAS sharing movies and music, and the 2x SiliconDust HD Homeruns sharing up to 6x HD channels at once.
