Received a ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED from newegg yesterday, hooked it up and its dead...
Just sits there and twitches trying to get started. Hooked it up to a CPU Fan connector, a case fan connector, and also a molex connector.
...Nadda on all of them.
Just gonna have to RMA it, even though that totally sucks. Ah well guess I can use the stock Intel cooler until I get it back.
Just wanted to share my pain,

UGH! Hate when hardware is DOA. It happens to them all, so don't be too harsh on Zalman 
I think I've had hardware die from virtually all manufacturers.
Although it is even worse when it ARRIVES DOA!
The stock coolers aren't great, but they are good enough to use in a pinch like this Think I put my last stock cooler on my HTPC and it is still sitting there! LOL |

That is too bad... Maybe you should review a cooler for us... 
My favorite acronym redundancy that I seem to see everywhere recently... "RAM memory" - Since memory is listed twice, is that like DDR2?  |

Hahaha Nice...
I think I just might melt the copper down and sell it off that way, could probably get more for it with the metals on the rise..
Anyhow did somebody say (water) cooler?

I already "hint hint'd" over on their website. They requested a picture of yours truly and responded, with laughter towards me. They also said I wouldn't even be worthy of the action Fred Durst does nowadays.
