Might be hard to prove what kit is 'better' on paper, but lower timings are generally better. Both brands are very good, and those timings are both fairly tight. If the deal was really good on one over the other, I'd go with it!
For Athlon 64 Systems memory timings make very little different outside of memory benchmarks. You aren't going to notice huge jumps in performance like with older athlon/Intel setups.
The on-die memory controller seems like it's paying off.
