Slow opening threads

OK I talked to another member so know it is not just me it is happening to. Some threads take forever to open. Some open normally but some like like the "Spam Queen lol" thread in the Den seem to take forever to open. I cant see a common denominator as to which threads open slow and which open normally but there are definitely more than one that open really slow, I am talking like almost 45 seconds from time I click it till it opens.

Yeah - I noticed it today, too... I wanted to blame the WiFi connection... Laughing

I may reboot the MySQL server and poke around a bit. Not sure what the deal is though.

I did a few things, and one actually pointed out an issue with an open table... Not sure wtf that is all about, but that is fixed now. Rebooted the SQL server, and syncronized all the attachments....

Let me know if it is any better now!!

I just went back to the Spam Queen thread and counted off 37 sec from time I clicked it until time it opened so I would say whatever is wrong is still there Sad

its taking like 5 seconds to open threads sometimes even longer... fix it i cant wait that long

You know what it was? This happened before, but last time it was thePMG's fault (or was it wsm)? One of those three letter dudes... Laughing

Any thread Dud3! had posted in bogged down because he has his signature and avatar hosted on a dead server! The pages here wouldn't load until the requests for his images timed out!

People.... just host your images here! Laughing
