review was quite good but it sounded like you didnt do a test with a optical mouse with this mouse mat, which is unusual as most people use optical mice now and alienware only gives optical mice away with their systems.

I was thinking about buying one from alienware as overclockers.co.uk are selling func 1030 mats for £23 inc vat (not including delivery) but I use a optical mouse so I'm 100% not sure how it will work on this mouse mat.

I don't think Mr. Kangaroo was giving you a hard time, but it is a good point... Optical mice are taking over, thats for sure.

Sorry If I gave you the impression that I was giving you a hard time.
Like I said before, it's a good review but I was just curious why you didnt test optical mice with the pad (keep forgetting that not everybody uses them) which you answered in your post.
And if it wasn't for your review I would have paid £30 instead of £15 so your review did the job... informative, helpful and above all else made me want to go out and buy one Wink

keep up the good work Poom... Smile
