What do you plan to do with it? Have links you could add so we don't have to search out each item? Mostly because I don't think I ever heard of that case... Other items sound familiar, and point to a mid-range desktop system.

What ever I am planning to do with it, it will handle. I am not a big game player. Work with photos, and such some graphics.

Posted that in my last post. No big gaming, some photos, some small graphics programs, email, web, office, etc.

whoops, my bad.

If you wanted to save a few bucks you could go the dual-core route:

unless you're doing CPU intense stuff, you may not notice much of a performance boost with the quad.

I still really like the Antec 300 as a basic case:

Going with that cpu, would I still use the same memory? What do you like about the antec case over the ultra? I really have no idea how to pair them up. Maybe getting too old to begin. Used to be pretty good with these things, but haven't kept up with them.

I would stay with the Quad core. Gives the computer more life.

If your going to be doing graphics, I'd suggest adding more memory. 8GB's if you can, 6GB other wise.

Don't forget about a good PSU, this is something many home builders forget about, and it is amazing all the issues a poor PSU will cause, as well as limiting your system upgrades.

I am planning to go with the Quad, as the price difference is not that much. I have a Corsair TX650W PSU. That should be sufficient I would imagine.

What do you like about that case that the Ultra can't deliver? I am looking for running cool and quiet. Wouldn't a tower run cooler than a mini tower?
