I would like to know whether HyperN520 cooler is a good CPU cooler for Corei7. Will it give real good performance than Prolimatech Meghalam cooler.

I wasn't overly impressed with the review sample...

It didn't even include i7 brackets to consider testing it that way, but based on LGA 775 testing, it is a mediocre cooler.

Don't get HyperN520. There are better options out there. If you want to oc, go for the Hyper 620, it's bigger and performs better. Alternative, try the Noctua 120mm units.

The Megahalem actually received very good reviews so that would be the top choice if you already got it.

Right now it appears that the top three air coolers are the Thermalright IFX-14, The Prolimatech Megalahems, and the TRUE. There are a few others getting close, but nothing matches them yet.

that's true, these 3 heatsink seem to be the best of the air cooling solution available. The Thermalright has been the leader fora long time now. it's nice to see someone who can compete with it.

I tested one of these coolers and would not recommend it for overclocking at all. My Q6600@3.OGHZ recorded load temps of 60c +, and this was in a cool basement.

Heatsinks enclosed in a plastic shroud that "direct" the airflow usually have bad performance cuz the shroud usually ends up trapping the heat.

from various reviews I've read (including BB's), the N520 is a so-so cooler for a socket 775 proc. For an i7, I think it will do poorly...
