With the GeForce 260, I can run it on High and get upwards of 60-70FPS on my 1080P 28" screen at max res (can't think what it is right now). If I set it to the new "Ultra" settings, I drop down to mid 30-40's FPS.
Can't wait to get the 275, see if that improves
Of course in Dalaran though it drops down to around 25fps on High and Ultra LOL Kinda to be expected though |

I agree, the 4770 is supposed to be faster then the 9800GT and with a cost of around $100. This could be a great option for you. |

http://www.ninjaforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1224 this is a thread that shows the HD4770 in comparison to the HD4830, 4850, GTS250 and 9800GT. If you can't be bothered to read I'll just tell you the results. It outperformed the HD4830 by 2-8% overall, underperformed the 4850 by around 5%, underperformed the GTS250 by 7% and outperformed a overclocked 9800GT by around 19%.
On your processor, you must mean 2,7Ghz. You should be able to overclock that to 3,0Ghz easily and that should get you a performance upgrade. |
