Ohhh I see it goes at the bottom of the fan, not the top. Thanks a bunch, I knew this wasn't quite right.

crap it still doesn't fit right, I've been fiddling with this for 10 minutes now and the wires won't stay up on the fan. I see how they could on that picture you showed me, but with BB's fan I can't seem to fit those wires on the bottom of the fan Bang Head Plus this CD drive bays do not want top go in Sad

ok are you making sure that the wires are falling into the screw wholes on the fan that is a must. Also the fans size matters to. I'll post another pic just in just a second. Do you mean the CD drive or like quick remove bays????

Just the CD drives, but I can get them. I just need a bit of force.(I'm weak) Anyways, the problem is that there is no screw hole on the bottom like the picture above. Check it out:

Not yet, but lemme get this new system figured out first then I'll get back to you. Do you think I could maybe... glue it/tape it down because it's only used to hold it together, not THAT important if I can't get this to fit with the wire. I guess it was a bad choice of fan for a heatsink /shrug

does the clip reach over to the gap? in the sides? If so you could take a drill bit and drill "screw holes" there. THen your clip would slide in there like its suppose to and you won't hurt the performace at all.

I would advise against tap or glue. They both will eventualy wear off and then you'll have a serious issue. Try my last sugestion
