Ya it's a bit of a bummer, but a hundred extra MB and dual channel can't hurt. Since the video card is using shared memory, dual channel probably helps video performance as well. _________________

Oh man... If I had known... I have a Kingston HyperX 800MHx SODIMM kit that has been sitting here. A weird 3GB kit (1x 2GB and 1x 1GB) for non-dual channel laptops with 32-Bit OSes.
Something keeps my laptop memory running at a zippy 299MHz no matter what...  |
