The total of that is $1384.90. With $50 in rebates and there is a combo on the case/power supply combo right now that drops another $30 off the total, bringing it to $1304.90 before the CPU is added. There is no CPU listed because the Phenom II 955 isn't in stores yet, and I don't know firm pricing. At the moment, it looks like right around $300 for the CPU, and it should be available in the next two or three days. Alternatively you could drop in the Phenom II X3 720 Black Edition which is a marvelous processor at less than half the price of the 955 at $139.99. With the 720 processor, you might even be able to add a second 4890 to the system within your budget. Also, I threw the Blu-ray in just in case you would ever use the computer for media viewing as well as gaming. If not, you can pull it out and save another $109.99.


This is a very nice build. I'd get the 720 because it seems pretty darn awesome for overclocking. AM3 choice brings you nice upgradeability since that's the socket they'll be using in the next generation of processors.
