PS3's average approx. 900 points per day. No one really knows how stanford sets their point values, but it should be mentioned that the smp work units are BETA meaning that they frequently have issues that cause users to either get no points or only partial credit. Don't be surprised if smp work unit point values drop by about %30 when they are no longer in BETA.
Coincidentally most of the numbers I've seen for GPU folding put the newer ATI cards in the 800-1200ppd range, with some work units acheiving around 1500ppd. The key to getting higher ppd numbers with the gpu clients is to actually get the gpu to work at a higher load, meaning you need to keep cpu usage down so it can feed the gpu.
Most of the beta clients are pretty similar in their numbers, the difference is that the PS3 is one of the simplest ways to contribute to F@H. Maintaining the GPU and SMP beta clients requires frequent monitoring (clients expire regularly and need to be updated), which probably also contributes to their higher point values. _________________
