Playing around with gThumb Image Viewer on my Fedora install seems to be the ticket. I hooked up an ancient camera (a serial connected Fuji MX-1200) that I can't use with Windows since '98, and it worked. Detected the camera, downloaded the images to a folder, and offers to print them, too (just no printer on that PC right now to test that).
Hoping USB works even better, as I forgot how painful it is to download over Serial! |
