you can bridge your modem if it has an internal router and change the ip of your linksys router. This was necessary with the classic DSL modems that sported routers. I prefered my linksys to the internal router in my dsl modem so I bridged it and used my linksys instead. There should be some settings in the modem/router to set it to bridged. If you can't find it, contact your ISP provider and they should be able to help you. _________________
