I think I've read that the SLI/Crossfire support issues are starting to go away. ..that some chipsets already cross support either flavor.
The Intel 975 being one of them..
I know Via, SiS and ULi are all working on or have out chipsets that go both ways. ...with driver, BIOS, or setting changes required for it to work. Performance though is less then a purebred chipset like ATI's for their own Crossfire, or nVidia's for their SLI. |
