I don't like Mandrake, the latest version I have is 8.1. It's way too n00bish for me. I mean, it's a n00b version of RedHat (it's based on RedHat), and RedHat is n00b to me...
About as non-n00b as I wanted to go was Debian. I installed 2.2 r5 on a PII system and it wasn't hard, but I did have to figure out how to set up X and the window manager I wanted and all that stuff by myself.
I haven't got my hands on SuSe or Slackware yet, but I'd like to try both.
