Most power supplies that are 24 pin, are also 20 pin. They usually have a removable set of pins to make it fit the 20 pins.
Pretty much, the biggest concern on a power supply is if the power is stable. If you have a digital multi-meter, you can check the power to make sure it's coming out stable. I can give you the rails and how to check if you want to do that.
Most power supplies that come with cases, are not optimal, but they do the job. OUt of the 6 systems I have running, two are using power supplies that came with the case (too lazy to change them out). THey've been running for over 2 years on them without any problems. |
