ack MIR's!
In the last 13 years or so, not one of my MIR has ever came back. Not from Tiger, the manufacturer, or whomever.. never ever.. and yes I did fill them out correctly.
I found an Acer 3003 series for about $600 shipped. Sempron 2600+ 256MB 40gb 15".
also a remanufactured HP ZE2000Z series similar in specs for $585 shipped. I dont think it has wireless though, but does have the ATI 200M graphics(shared).
So far Averatec, Acer and HP have new/reman systems in my price and spec range. Acer being what I'd lean towards due to the fact that my old Texas Instruments Extensa (Acer) 565CD 75mhz Pentium still runs even after 11 years and a broken display hinge |
