To make your life easier, the Nvidia drivers are 'unified'. This does mean a sizeable download, but at the same time it means that regardless of what card you use, from the TNT range to the GeForceFX range, there is one download that will do the lot!
Go to www.nvidia.com to get the latest drivers. They may be 'unsigned', though (they often are, thanks mainly to rush releases to improve performance of the latest cards).
Another download you ought to seek out is an app called 'RivaTuner' which will easily overclock most of the TNT/GF range. It does a great job, and provided you've got decent case cooling, will get you that extra few FPS in Q3A.
I rate the TNT2 as being one of Nvidia's best cards ever! I still use one in an older PC of mine, believe it or not. Soon to be switched for a GF2MX when my Radion 9600 arrives tomorrow. |
