I checked your Mwave drive with shipping to you and it came to 28.05 with ground shipping.
The same drive from Newegg is 27.00 shipped and Newegg is the best in the business bar none.
So unless I have punched in the wrong information in their shipping calculator, Newegg is cheaper.
EDIT... I reread the thread and figured out you were asking if a cheaper drive would do ok. duh...on my part.
Sure, they should all be ok for reading disks, I personally have purchased ~40 liteon drives and have had no failures (I build and sell systems). (Until this NEC Burner that is!!!) |
