Some of you may already know I am planning on moving to Montana. My last day at the old oil refinery will be tomorrow (Friday) and I will be starting a new job at a power plant on the 24th.

Should be a great job the money is the exact same as here (California) but the cost of living is about 1/3.

We will be leaving here on Tuesday for the 20hr+ drive.

I'm gonna pack the computer last but after Sunday you might not here from me for a few months.

Yea, they don't currently have anything but dialup and satellite Internet where he is going...

Or a McDonalds, Jack-in-da-box, Burger King, Carl's Jr, 7-11, Starbucks, k-mart, Walmart, Costco, or even one red light for that matter... Grin

Still the best thing he could possibly be doing!!!

Congrats A$$ylum!!! Full Moon

Laughing Ouch! I bet the dial up access is pretty bad too. Old lines, and switches = poor dial up.

Guess it's satellite for you.

Holy crap! I thought I started this thread because I, too, am moving to Montana! I'm not going to move until the end of May. Anyway, where are you moving to? I'll be headed to Missoula...and I hope I find a job quickly (have been looking for 2 months now)

Satellite is the only way to go up there. It may take a few months to get settled in and set up my computer because I will be going straight into a 6-12hr shift schedule for the first couple of months then back to 4-10 schedule.

I'll be moving to colstrip, its about an hour and a half east of billings

I've heard about that town. Don't they pre-arrange all the sheep mistresses for you? It's like 5 per male over 16 or something like that....
