I am looking to buy a new motherboard, most likely from new egg. I dont really have a preference on the maker as long as it is compatible with 2.8athlon/pc2700/agp8x/under $150.

I will be using this board 60%-gaming and 40%- photoshop/filesharing. On-board sound is not necessary, i use a headset

Could you guys give me some suggestions.

basically looking for a better board then an ECS K7VTA3 KT333 CHipSet - 5 PCI, *4XAGP*, parallel, serial, and 4 usb ports, onboard sound

thx,

thx dude, do you know if that card comes with nvidia soundstorm? maybe....

Even with just headphones, i notice crackling with the soundcard i got so i might as well get a board with sound. Also i am willing to go up on price, is there even a better board out there?

thx for the help,
