I just picked up this game and I have played it for 3 hours total now and I love it. It looks gorgeous even with lowered settings and I love how far you can look to the distance unlike Fallout 3's engine which has massive frame skips if you crank it to ultra settings.
It is both really easy and insanely hard (once they start calling choppers) and the enemies don't seem to run out. Although you are virtually unstoppable once you get a gattling gun (you can find these mounted but you can press the spacebar to unmount them and take them anywhere) the only drawback with that gun is that it slows you down severely and you lose the ability to jump, not to mention you can't holster it like your other weapons, you can only drop it.
There's like 130 unique vehicles in the game (cars, trucks, boats, planes, helicopters, tanks, etc.) and you can do almost anything with your grappling hook. Attach it to an enemy then attach it to your car so you can drag them to death. Attach a hook to an enemy and the other end to a propane tank, shoot it and watch as they get taken for a ride before it explodes. Attach a hook to an enemy car and a plane/helicopter and drop them off the ocean. etc.
It's also moddable and has a few DLCs so its completely replayable. The world in the game is MASSIVE. It will be probably 50- hour gameplay total ...at least. |
