alright the main computer at my fathers company keeps shutting off randomly while hes working on it. the power supply was replaced but that didn't help. i brought it home with me and im looking at it the mobo seems fine to me but the cpu fan seems like its spinning slower thAn normal but im not sure. his computer tech thinks its the mobo but im not convinced
when it shuts off, theres no blue screens beeps or anything. it just turns off, no restart either. help, thnx _________________

Could be overheating. If the CPU overheats, it may shut down the computer without a BSoD or anything. I know the P4's had the capability of protecting themselves that way.
Could still be the MoBo (especially if the caps of any of the capacitors are bubbled...I had this happen to my home machine)....but the cheap test would be to replace the HS and fan. _________________ " I reject your reality and substitute my own!" - Adam Savage - Mythbusters
