OK...I'm looking at some AA rechargables for my camera.

It will accept the standard 1.5volt Alkaline (the copper top!) but also the 1.2 volt NiMH batteries.

My ?? is.....whats the difference between the 1600/1800/2100 versions???

Is it just capacity/endurance?? Or is there something more???

the 1600/1800/2100 is mAH= maximum storage capacity in milli Amp Hours, a good quality Alkaline is from 1800 to2700mAH so the best NiMH won't go quite as far as a durcell coppertop, but can be recharged upto 1000 times (500 is more realistic)
Buy a several sets and a good charger (made for NiMH) and never run out of juice.

I had used 2100s in my old minidisc player. They saw plenty of use as everyday I would take 2 ferry rides (30mins apiece) alone. Those batteries would last a week or more.

Thompson Distributing.

MAHA Powerex NimH batteries and a MAHA smart charger is the way to go. I use them for my camera and they're awesome.

Yeah, I got a deal also. Eight AA 1850mA Powerex, four free plastic battery cases, and the MHC204-GT charger for $33 shipped.

i bought some of the Rayovac I-C3's. 4 of them to be exact, kinda expensive, but they are 2100mA . i use them in my MX Duo, only have to charge them 2 times a month, and they only take 15 minutes to charge.
