That place hasn't been right since they went IPO. It's no cheaper the Fry's/Microcenter

I'm curious to see what will happen to the "distributor" who introduced these? Surely they didn't expect to get away with it without any consequences.

From what I hear, most of these were actually just testing samples. Of course, I may be wrong on this account, but either way Newegg gave everyone real processors if they had a problem.
