What slideshow maker software do you use?

I want to make a slideshow for my father's birthday. but i don't know what slideshow maker software should i use. Can you give me some suggests. What i use now is windows Movie maker. but i don't think that is good enough. Thanks!

Photo MovieTheater, DVD slideshow maker, GUI slideshow maker, etc.

ah, yeah, those of us without lil' ones would miss that. Now if it were a Sesame Street or Sponge Bob reference I'd have gotten that one.
