I have 3-4 prizes lined up, and I thought I might fire up the fantasy sports module on the site. Anyone up for some office pool style NFL pick 'em? I won't commit to running this for the whole season like we did two years ago, but I guess we could run for a month or so and see how it goes.

Look for a formal announcement on this later today, but we're going to kick this off for this week's games!
Up for grabs will be a brand new CoolIT Systems Domino ALC CPU cooler, like the one reviewed here:
http://www.bigbruin.com/content/coolitdomino_1
Make your predictions here:
http://www.bigbruin.com/forum/fsports.php
As I mentioned, formal rules will be posted later. But for the basics... You have until game time of each game to make your predictions. You have to enter a score for each game, so obviously give the team you think will win the higher total. You score 5 points for predicting the winner of the game correctly, and if you happen to not only predict the winner correctly, but also predict the final score you get a bonus of 5 more points. In the event of tie based on record, the point differential will serve as a tie breaker. The point differential takes the absolute value of the difference between the actual score and your predicted score, and adds them all together for each game.
Ooh, that last sentence turned this contest nerdy really quick.
Contest open to the US and Canada...

LOL, what, you don't like hearing about players complaining about their millions of dollars to play a game for the rest of their lives... I imagine it is even worse for you all since you got that newbie of a coach (which means even more talking) _________________ i just beat the internet.... the end guy was hard. |
