A 53 year old man (that I can only guess to be a grumpy war vet) decided to walk in and drop off a live Howitzer shell to the local Philadelphia police station that he had been holding onto since 1977. The police responded like any intelligent institution, with a total evacuation letting the bomb squad take possession and properly dispose of the shell. So far it looks like no charges will be filed against the good samaritan.
