That sounds great. However, there is free partition manager - EASEUS Partition Manager Home Edition, so, i will not go with acronis.

Mad Sad the partition manager built in windows has its limitations. XP can not resize partition. Vista can only resize ntfs partition and if the unallocated space is not next to the partition you want to extend, ect...

Mostly true. Windows XP actually does come with a utility to extend NTFS partitions called diskpart, it is a command line utility however. It's true that the unallocated space does need to be directly to the right of the partition you wish to extend. I don't use other file systems other than NTFS so diskpart and the functionality built into Vista is enough for me, pretty rare that I need to repartition my drive for something I hadn't planned for.

Yes. I also have used partition manager, which help me a lot to extend the system partition and the home edition is free. Smile
