Aaaaah! We started out at our best customer's (a real estate office) installing some new backup software with the intentions of leaving and going to the other office to do the same. What actually happened is that we took care of the computers and then worked on their clogged solid waste line. Bang Head

FYI: My dad used to be a plumber among other things

Anyway, first thing we did was go to the hardware store just before they closed (5PM) and get some sulferic acid. That didn't work so we pulled the toilet. No problems there. We worked on it with a plunger, until everyone was gone, then went home (12 miles away) and got some cable and a big cable snake, ate dinner, then went back down. We incountered something very much solid with those out in front of the building, so we just put the toilet back down and went home (at 9PM).

Besides that, the Bronco still isn't fixed so I have to get out and sort the relay with a screwdriver to crank it while dad holds the switch down (two man car). And we have to go back and freeze again in the morning and dive into the sewage! Yikes

Definately qualifies as a "not good" week. Laughing

Heheheh. Whatever we can do...

After doing all that (which only the new person knew about, and she left at 5:30), they called RotoRooter this morning before we got there...

So we're not charging them anything for all that because we didn't fix anything. The RotoRooter guy told dad he got some roots out and was all the way to the other side of the street with the rooter. Dad tol the cheapskate that is in charge that if there were roots in a PVC drain that the pipe needs to be replaced, but she said that they needed to use the toilet so I guess that's her fix.

A past RotoRooter is probably why the pipe is broken now, and she'll be sorry in a few months (or days if the dirt or rocks fill it up).

People can be really dumb some times.......

Taken care of yesterday evilburl, we bought a cool metal push button to run to the relay and it works great. Dad said he wants to keep it even after we get another steering column. Razz
