Even Dawn of War 2 and Sims Life now play a lot smoother.

I guess its the efficiency of Penryn procs. Now, the only bottleneck is my 7900GS Grin

Yikes. My barely-two-month-old used 7900GS died on me last night! Good thing my mobo has integrated video to tide me over...

It seems older generation cards are more durable than newer ones. My 6600GT served me well for two years without hiccup. The last two cards that followed (used 7600GT and 7900GS) weren't as durable.

Oh, well.

The replacement card (with better cooler!) arrived a few days ago and I'm now again a happy gamer Smile

Taiwan brand of an Nvidia 7900GS. Cooler is a Zalman VF700 with copper and aluminum. Bought it dirt-cheap Smile

Ah, I thought it awkward because the card was red, so I assumed it was ATI, haha!
