Correct me if I'm wrong here:
A GTS250 is a rebadged 9800GTX+ which is a rebadged 8800GTX?
The 800GTX is 65nm while the 9800GTX+ is 55nm?
Some vendors are selling GTS250 512MB on 65nm, while others on 55nm?
All 1GB GTS250 are 55nm.
If a GTS250 has two 6-pin power connector, its 65nm. If it only has one 6-pin connector, it's on 55nm?
The reason I'm asking is I may get a GTS250 rather than an HD4770.

1. yes, yes & no or yes - 9800GTX is the rebadged of 8800GTX while 9800GTX+ is like a revision of 9800GTX with higher mem & clock frequencies.
2. yes, my 9800GTX+ is a 55nm
3. i am not sure about this one 
4. not sure with this also, gonna research hehe..
5. AFAIK, all GTS250 has two 6-pin connector but im not sure if there are 65nm or all are 55nm, refer no. 3

It helps..somewhat...I think
5. Nvidia reference card for the GTS250 shows one 6-pin connector. Some reviews I've seen on the net have GTS250 with two and some with only one 6-pin...
It gets even more confusing when I just read about this ECS GTS250 1GB card with only 1 6-pin but built on old 65nm process:
Better stick to 4770 then? |

The equivalent of GTS250/9800GTX+ is 4850/4850 OC. better get this one than 4770.
EDIT: Or do a one time upgrade, get the 4890 hehe
