Just interested in what software is the first stuff you install in each new build you run. For me it'd probably be the following:
CPU-Z to make sure settings are right
Chrome or firefox
Digsby for IM
Ultramon since windows still doesnt support multimonitors right! (Sadly, it don't work so well under Win7)

Things I add to every PC I build for myself:
Firefox (with Sparky, Forecastfox, CheckBoxMate, SearchStatus, and LogMeIn)
Thunderbird
Putty
Filezilla 2.x (they wrecked it with 3.x)
Screenhunter
Notepad++
Pidgin
CDBurnerXP
Skype
Folding@Home
And some programs that generally only go on my main workstation:
GroupMail
Integrio Uptime Scout
Actual Search & Replace
Photoshop (Version 6 - I need to pony up on a new license)
MS Office (same deal - license is from 2002)
BatchIt Ultra
