which one's faster in single or crossifre mode? (mind the memory type)
HD4670 512mb gDDR3 128-bit
or
HD3870 512mb gDDR4 256-bit

The only area where the HD 4670 beats the 3870 would be power consumption. The 128MB memory bus limits the 4670's performance where as most of the other specs are close.
