Vista is killing my flashdrives for xp!!!

A friend of mine has a very similar problem. I hope you will be able to post a solution so that others like him can benefit. He isnt using his computer for over a week now and instead, uses his sisters computer for tranferring files at the moment.

have you checked the motherboard connections of your usb port? you might have interchanged the connectors and the ground... just a thought...
