I received an order from SVC this evening, the order was for (4) 18" single device copper IDE cables, and (2) silver floppy cables.

The 18" copper IDE cables came as dual device. I called SVC, they asked for my order number, checked it, and found it was their mistake in filling the order. He said they would ship out the 4 single device cables first thing in morning overnight shipping.

I was told to keep the 4 dual device cables.

This is the kind of service that keeps me coming back!!!!

I highly recommend shopping for cables, fans and cooling devices at Silicon Valley Compucycle.

SVC is great. Newegg and SVC are pretty much the only place I go to buy.

Newegg and Jab-Tech for me... with an occasional stop at other stores for one time deals... I ordered from SVC a few times a while back and everything was fine, but shipping took a while, plus the coast-to-coast thing...

yup, newegg, svc, and excaliberpc are the only places i buy things from. Excaliber is the bomb for the prices on Lian Li cases. lowest lian li prices i can find.

The challenge is now in Neweggs court!!! I ordered another Black Maxtop case identical to the one I reviewed.

It showed up as beige - I checked the Invoice and I ordered the right case, their mistake. Let's see if they just send out a replacement, or pay for my shipping this one back.

It's only a $40.00 case + $15.00 shipping.

I emailed them and just asked them to advise. Will be interesting to see what they do.

Ok heres an update, actually 2 updates:

Newegg - Got an email from them telling me to ship back the case (my expense) and they will 1 day red the black case. Then I'm supposed to fax my shipping receipt to them for CREDIT. Acceptable I guess, but still a PITA.

SVC - betcha thought this story was over with the shipment of 4 replacement cables, right???

WRONG, I received ANOTHER shipment of 4 single IDE 18" copper cables!!!! HAHAHAHA, I actually called them and told them... The same guy answered the phone, couldn't believe they replaced them twice, said sorry, and keep them!!! (He also asked that I call if I get anymore, just for the laugh!!!)

Dude!! I could use some cables like that!! I was about to order a few 18" simgle silver cables... Is there a deal to be made? Heh? Heh?
