Does anyone have a good solution for sending faxes over an Avaya-based VOIP network? I have an Avaya IP Office network and users have moved to a new floor without specifying the need for fax. So when I was getting cables run I only put in fiber and now that floor is pure digital/VOIP with no compatible hardware to do faxing. Any ideas?

Honestly the only thing I could think of doing in this situation is getting a hold of a Analog to Digital PBX unit. While I know this is probably not the best solution it is really the only thing I can think of off hand.

Actually, I found a workaround.

One of the copiers here has lan-fax capability so I hooked them up to that (as a printer) and to receive, I used a service from the web. In the future, we'll probably move to the Exchange Unified Communications method. That should be interesting.

We were using Exchange Unified Communications method for a bit here at the college, if you need any help with that just let me know. I'm sure I can provide some support for you! =D
