In general I have been trying to use UPS recently since their prices on ground seem more competitive with Priority Mail with the Post Offices recent price hikes, plus the tracking number is actually functional... But, I had three seemingly small/light items to ship today (one to Dud3!, IceNine, and Spire), and thought it would be easier to use Priority Mail... $35 less in my wallet and I'm sorry I did!! Same shipments would have been $25 at UPS, I'd be more confident in their safe delivery, and I could actually see where they were en route... From now on BigBruin.Com uses UPS for packages!! Check out FedEx too... I'm finding them to be very competitive. Most of the time they are cheaper then UPS.

Why use "Priority"...standard shipping should cost much less, so what if it gets there a day or two later.

FedEX is ok, but I did compare them all in the fall, and UPS was my best bet... But, the USPS is a joke!! I sent IceNine a box that was nearly the same weight and size in November and it was $8 something... Todays was either $12+ or $15+ - not sure which was his or Spire's looking at the receipt now, but either price is way too high!!

I like FedEx 'cause I always get packages uber-fast from NewEgg. <- One time I got it the same day! UPS is good too, I guess.

I use normal canada post, takes 2 weeks for it to get there but I only pay 20 bucks instead of like 30 for purolator or ups. Sometimes paying 10 bucks extra is worth it though...

FedEx is teh 1337. I told my dad to ship my aunt's computer back to her at the UPS dropoff in town, and he went to the PO instead. $36 later............

It would have been $15-$20 with FedEx/UPS.

Nah... never had a problem... PO is who I have had a few problems with. But, they used to be cheaper... now they have no advantage!
